Seed-Shaped Copper & Silver Earrings with Bronzed Calcite & Obsidian

These narrow seed-shaped drops make considered use of material offcuts. Calcite and obsidian remnants are fused together with bronze, then recut to create the bronzed calcite-and-obsidian elements set alongside copper and sterling silver.
Each earring measures approximately 52mm from hook to base and 6mm at its widest point. Obsidian is traditionally regarded as protective and grounding. These earrings began with an M&P design in Australia and are handmade under ethical conditions in Mexico.
