Seed Opal Stud – Green Lime

A slim seed form gives the green lime cultured opal a fresh, directional look. The 5mm by 8mm sterling-silver stud stays close to the ear, concentrating its bright colour within a compact outline that is different from the expected circle.
Rather than being earth-mined, the opal is grown from silica under laboratory control, with technology developed in 1970s Japan; it is stronger than natural opal. Makers & Providers designed it in Australia and works with Mexican artisans for ethical making.
