Oval Opal Stud – Green Lime

A green lime cultured opal is given a clean oval setting in sterling silver. At approximately 6mm by 8mm, the compact stud has enough length to make its shape clear while retaining the restrained appearance of a close-fitting earring.
It is made from silica in a laboratory, not mined, using a technique created in Japan in the 1970s; this cultured opal is stronger than a natural one. Makers & Providers developed the pair in Australia, then skilled Mexican artisans completed it through ethical manufacture.
