Heart Opal Stud – Rose

A heart is made all the more delicate at this scale. This rose cultured-opal stud measures around 6mm by 7mm and is set in sterling silver, bringing a romantic silhouette into a small, beautifully contained earring.
The coloured stone is grown in a silica-based laboratory environment using a process developed in Japan in the 1970s, rather than mined; it is stronger than natural opal. The design is by Makers & Providers in Australia and is ethically made by artisans in Mexico.
