A rose cultured opal softens the clean line of this large sterling-silver hoop stud. The 22mm diameter gives it an easy presence, and its 4mm width keeps the circular form pleasingly defined rather than delicate.
Its opal is laboratory-grown with silica using a process developed in Japan in the 1970s and has greater strength than natural opal. Makers & Providers designed the piece in Australia, where the colour choice was set; skilled makers in Mexico ethically produce the finished earring.
