For those drawn to a longer earring, this shield-shaped chandelier offers a 55mm drop with a 30mm maximum width. Sterling silver frames the cultured opal and gives the piece a polished foundation for its colour-led centre.
Rather than coming from a mine, the opal is formed under laboratory conditions with silica, through a method originating in 1970s Japan. Makers & Providers designed this pair in Australia; skilled makers in Mexico bring it to life through ethical production.
