Three tiers create the length and presence of this cultured-opal chandelier earring. From hook to tip it measures about 58mm, with a widest point of 28mm, while sterling silver provides a refined setting around the coloured stone.
The opal is laboratory-grown from silica, based on a technology pioneered in Japan in the 1970s, so its colour is created without extracting a stone from the ground. Makers & Providers conceived the design in Australia and works with skilled Mexican artisans for its ethical manufacture.
